Hi All. As many of you know, I have recently found out that I have got my funding for Loughborough College!!! For those that do not know, I have just told you.
I was overjoyed when I got the news, but unfortunately I could not tell anyone until the letter came through. I really can't believe that the dream that I've always wanted has come true!!
Also in other news, I'm going to be 19 soon!! In 3 weeks and 4 days I will be 19!!!! Oh. My. Gosh!
I thought I'd update you on my news because some of you do not know about it.

Duke of Edinburgh
Hi All. Sorry it's been a while, but I thought I'd write a post on my first weekend on Duke of Edinburgh. It was a fun weekend! On the Saturday we had to be there by half past 8 with all our kit, waterproof trousers coat everything like that and rucksacks for our lunch and everything else. Then when we got on the bus we drove to the Malvern Hills, and we got there about 10.
Then we started to walk, it rained a bit, but then later on in the afternoon it brightened up!
It was a long walk but we managed it and yes this time I did have water! or enough of i t!!
Then it was time to go back to college and as we drove back I thought of sleeping in a cold, wet, horrible tent, but realised why think negative and think positive instead! So when we got back we set up our tents and as we had got back early due to a student wearing the wrong shoes, we were allowed to go back to our houses and hostel to have a bit of free time.
Then at half past 9 we went back to the camp site, and then we got ourselves ready for bed and snuggled down for the night.
Then Sunday morning dawned and we were freeeeezing cold! There was even a frost on the tent!
We got to go back to houses for breakfast, and then we had to be back for 9 to go to the Wyre Forest this time, and then we started our long walk. There was 4 maps we had to read, and although my navigation skills aren't quite there, they are getting there.
Then about 4 we got back after a good weekend walking. The fresh air I think sent us a bit nuts as a few of my friends started talking cave men lol!
Good weekend overall

Well, a lot has been happening over the last few weeks and whether you've been busy, quiet or just manic, we've all got time to chill.
So what have I done? Loads of maths assessments, getting out because we had a fire practice, chatting with chums and just having a great time. Anyway I know I need to keep you updated so that's what I'm doing. Will write more when something else happens.

Christmas is coming!
Hi guys
I know some of you may hate it, some of you may love it. But... it's nearly Christmas. 20 days to go!
I'm really looking forward to Christmas and now I've watched about 3 Christmas movies last weekend, I've got into the Christmas spirit!!
I would imagine over Christmas people are going to eat lots, drink lots and then have lots of wild parties. Well here's a joke to get you started before the crackers:
Good King Wencelas phoned Dominos for a pizza
the salesgirl asks him
"Do you want your usual? Deep pan crisp and even?
thought that would be a good start to the Christmas Cracker jokes we're all going to hear over the next few days. Apologies for the really bad joke by the way.

Lord Mayors Show In London
Hi All
Another blog post coming your way! On Saturday the 10th November, a few New College Students and I went to London to watch the Lord Mayor being crowned Mayor. We were actually taking part in the parade.
We had to be there at 6:30 am at the fountain so getting up at 5:30 was not pleasant!
Then when we were at the fountain, we waited for the taxi which would take us to Worcester Shrub Hill Station. When the taxi arrived, we got in and went to Shrub Hill. We were all excited as this was all our first time! When we got to Shrub Hill it was time to wait for our train, which would arrive at 7:08 am. When the train came, we all used our guides and canes to get on the train and find seats. When on the train, a few of us went to sleep, as we were all tired from getting up early, a few of us played our Ipods and a few of us just watched the scenery go by!
When we got to London after a very very long train journey, we found our place in the parade, which was number 13, unlucky for some! We were number 13 out of 100!
When we got to our parade we waited for our turn to move, because we had to wait for the other carrridges and the band to move. When we finally started walking it was quite a fast walk, but good because we got to wave at all the crowds and a few younger kids gave us a high five! I high fived about 10 kids in a row at one point!!!
Then an hour after that it was lunch time. We had packed lunches and we sat by the river Thames overlooking the London Eye to eat our lunch which was a lovely view.
Then we had to walk again and we again got high fives on the way back! I was surprised at how many people were there!
On the way back I saw someone with an Ipad, and me being creative made up a new word, the word is Ipapped because the crowd were our paparazzi and we had our photo taken by an Ipad!! Genius!
Then when we got back to the street we started on, we got to watch the other floats go by! it was great because when you are actually in the parade you don't see the floats, so we got to see them.
Then it was unfortunately time to go back, after a lot of walking, hand waving and time for our long journey back to Worcester. All in all a great day and enjoyed by all! The best bit was being there! The sights, smells, and sounds of it all were just incredible! I will definetely come again!

my happy life :)
Hi guys
I told you I'd update soon enough, and I want to update to tell you about my happy life! This week I had my annual review which is a review on how I'm doing this year and it's all positive!
I'm really happy, lots of things are making me happy at the moment, for example, I am going on holiday on my own with my friend next year, to Bognor Regis. ON MY OWN! Without Mum and Dad!
I've also been looking after an assessment student this weekend, and made friends with her, unfortunately I will not be here next year to see her get funding, but I have got her number and we keep in touch.
So at the moment my life is one happy bubble!
:) :) :) :D
